the "core team"

"El Cuadro Flamenco" means "the flamenco group", and it was a name we found on about 10 seconds when we were asked at the entrance on stage of a TV recording.

It was in 1993 when Elio and Lise just formed the group from a flock of beginning dancers.

We are semiprofessional - none of us is living of dance, but we would if we could! We have danced sevillanas and flamenco the last many years and taken regular courses from guest teachers from Spain - or even traveled to Spain and taken lessons during the holidays!

We focus and deliver dance only: all our choreographies are based on recorded CD music, and we have original costumes bought in Spain.

As we dance primarily for private parties we have entertained with show and instruction a number of companies and school, i.e. CSC Denmark, NESA, HK, Gad, Novo, Jonannesskolen, AOF, and many others.
